B’nai B’rith president Philip M. Klutznick tonight endorsed the budget-threatened Eisenhower foreign-aid program as vital to the long-range future of the Middle East.
“The hope for an ultimate Arab-Israel settlement would be shattered if the Middle East nations, seeking economic stability, are surrendered to a predatory Soviet Union,” Mr. Klutznick told the 105th annual convention of B’nai B’riths’ District Two. Seven hundred delegates from eight mid-central states are attending the four-day meeting.
