The Sephardic Chief Rabbi, Dr. Salomon Gaon, of London, spent a few days here as part of a current mission to organize, consolidate and coordinate Sephardic communities on the American continent. A reception was given in his honor by Samuel del Giglio, president of the Sephardic community in this city. It was attended by Leon Feffer, Israel Consul, and leaders of the Jewish community.
