Five hundred delegates assembled here today from ten European countries for the Second European Conference of B’nai B’rith heard Phillip M. Klutznick, international president, report that a renaissance of the European Jewish Community had taken place in the post-war years.

He warned that “European Jewry must not have a lost generation.” but rather must try to achieve a real and complete renaissance appropriate to its own cultural forms. Fifty visitors from England, Israel and the United States are among the participants. An Institute of Judaism is being held as part of the conference.
