At the same time, the Pioneer Women voted to continue supporting heavily the Israel bond campaign. A special citation was awarded to the group by the State of Israel Bond Organization for having sold $10, 000, 000 worth of bonds to date. The $2, 500, 000 budget will be used for the women’s program of vocational training for 20, 000 women in Israel as well as 200 kindergartens, 75 day nurseries, and five resident homes.
