Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, returned to Hadassah Hospital today for a check-up of her condition following the injuries she suffered a week ago Tuesday when a bomb was thrown into the Knesset. Since her release from hospital last week, she reportedly continued to be troubled by the after effects of antibiotics which were administered to her and her recovery was described as slow.
Premier David Ben Gurion, who has been held in the hospital since last Tuesday, was described by his doctors tonight as fit and ready to leave the hospital any day. He may be discharged tomorrow. Speaker Josef Sprinzak and members of the Knesset presidium visited him today.
Moshe Carmel, Minister of Transport, who received a broken arm in the bombing, will be discharged from hospital tomorrow. Moshe Shapira, the Minister of Religions and Social Welfare most seriously injured of the bomb victims, was said tonight to be making favorable progress.
