Four Rumanian Zionist Leaders Arrive in Israel, Were Imprisoned

Four Rumanian Zionist leaders, who had been arrested am sentenced to lengthy prison terms by the Communist satellite regime, arrived in Israel today.

Bernard Rohrlich, a former chairman of the Rumanian Zionist executive; Heinrich Inger of the Mapai, who had been a member of the executive, Alexander Dascalu, a Hashomer Hatzair leader; and Edgar Kanner of Herut arrived on the S.S. Jerusalem with 212 other immigrants from Europe.

The four leaders were greeted by a large delegation of Mapam, Mapai and Herut representatives and Rumanian wish leaders now living in Israel.
