LONDON (Jan. 6)
A.L. Easterman, political director of the World Jewish Congress, will leave Paris tomorrow for Morocco where he will confer with Moroccon and Jewish leaders on the possibility of a resumption of emigration of Moroccon Jews who desire to leave the country. In the past few months the Moroccon authorities have brought Jewish emigration to a virtual standstill.
Meanwhile, the head of the WJC Middle East department, Joseph Golan, left today for Morocco to assist Mr. Easterman with his talks. Mr. Golan is scheduled to be in Morocco for seven days. World Jewish Congress president Dr. Nahum Coldmann is due in London January 17 to hold conferences with local Jewish leaders in advance of the opening of a meeting of the Congress in Rome at the end of this month.
