U.S. Seeks to Avoid Discussion of Arab-israel Issue at Ankara Talks

There is virtually no chance of the Arab-Israel situation being discussed at the forthcoming Ankara meeting of the Baghdad Pact Ministerial Council to be attended by Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, informed sources said today.

The United States seeks to avoid the injection of the complex Arab dispute with Israel into the context of U.S. efforts to bolster the pro-Western elements in the area, it was indicated.
