Lavy M. Becker, vice-president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, will visit the Jewish communities of Poland to survey the position of the Jewish repatriates from Russia to that country, it was announced here today. The Canadian Jewish Congress is interested in extending assistance to these 30,000 Jewish returnees to their native land directly and through the Joint Distribution Committee, the announcement said.
