The United Arab Republic’s delegation at the European headquarters of the United Nations denied today widely published reports that President Nasser and Israel Premier David Ben Gurion would hold secret talks in Africa later this year. “Completely unfounded” was the UAR’s description of the report which appeared in the Swiss press.

The report, which said Messrs. Ben Gurion and Nasser would meet in Ghana, was not taken seriously by diplomatic observers here even before the Arabs issued their denial.
