Israel is entering its second decade with perfect confidence, Ambassador Abba Eban said here tonight at a B’nai B’rith dinner honoring Israel’s 10th anniversary at which he was presented with the President’s Medal of the organization.
Philip M. Klutznick, national B’nai B’rith president, said “the quality of Israel’s hun an resources is personified in the attributes of her Ambassador–youth, intellect, wit, gallantry, the effervescence of optimism and by all means, political sagacity.” He called for accelerated U.S. aid as an instrument of peace and as a program that helps the domestic economy.
