Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice president of the Israel Bond Organization, left today for Israel via El Al Israel Airlines to confer with government leaders concerning future Israel bond activities and to initiate preparations for the international mobilization conference of Israel bonds which will be held in Jerusalem next August. While abroad, Dr. Schwartz will also meet with European leaders of the Israel bond campaign.
On the eve of his departure, he announced that the Jerusalem conference of the Israel Bond Organization would be held during the period from Tuesday, August 26 through Wednesday, September 3. The first two days and the final day of the conference period will be devoted to formal sessions with economic experts and government leaders, while the remainder of the time is to be spent on on-the-spot surveys of major industrial and agricultural enterprises.
