The Allied Veterans Council of Wayne County, Michigan, representing Detroit chapters affiliated with 23 national veterans groups, has protested the bombing of synagogues and Jewish centers in Miami, Nashville and other Southern cities.

A resolution offered by the Jewish War Veterans and unanimously approved by the entire council demanded that the Attorney General of the United States direct the FBI and other appropriate Federal agencies to “investigate and act upon these incidents. “Copies of the resolution, which called these “acts of terror and irresponsibility” an “insult to our nation’s honor,” were sent to Detroit Congressmen for action.
