Marta Navarra, president of the Italian section of WIZO, has requested the cooperation of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities to insure that all Jewish communities in this country enfranchise adult women for communal elections.

At present, the WIZO president pointed out, some communities bar women from elections on the requirement that only heads of families may participate in the balloting.
