Israel’s newest and largest merchant ship was today on the first leg of its inaugural monthly freight service run from U.S. Gulf ports to Mediterranean ports.
The “Negba,” operated by the Zim-Israel Navigation Co. of Haifa, left New Orleans today for Jacksonville, Fla., and Savannah, Ga., to take on additional cargo before returning to the Mediterranean.
