Lawrence White, secretary of District One of the B’nai B’rith, died here yesterday following a short illness. Mr. White was administrative head of District One, the largest in the fraternal organization, for the past 30 years. Under his guidance the district expanded from a membership of 4,000 to its present 100,000 in New York, New England and Eastern Canada. At the last district convention, where he was stricken with a heart attack, a Larry White Youth Fund was established to mark his long record of service to the organization.
