David Joseph Erenkrantz, a leading Jewish literary figure in Rumania, died in Bucharest after a lengthy illness, according to a dispatch received here today from the Rumanian capital. He was 54. Mr. Erenkrantz had translated many classics into Yiddish, and was engaged recently in compiling a Yiddish-Rumanian dictionary.
