About 100 students are already enrolled in Lodz, Poland, for new vocational training courses to be opened by ORT in that city in September, according to a report reaching here today.

At recent graduation exercises in Lodz, students who praised ORT for its vocational training program complained that they had difficulty finding jobs and that, when they get employment, their wages were very low. The students voiced demands that the Jewish community or the government supplement their low wages during the first few months of factory employment, until they attain higher experience ratings.
