U. J. A. Sends Survey Mission of Women to Israel to Study Immigration

A group of 21 women leaders of community campaigns affiliated with the United Jewish Appeal left here by air today as members of the Fourth UJA Women’s Division Overseas Survey Mission.

During the three-week tour, the women leaders will visit the international headquarters in Geneva of the Joint Distribution Committee, and survey UJA-financed immigration, settlement and welfare programs in Europe and Israel. Mrs. Jack A. Goodman of Indianapolis, national chairman of the division, is heading the mission.
