I Modiano, president of the CRIF, central representative organization of French Jews, demanded today that the Paris police investigate a recent series of anti-Semitic incidents.
Last spring, after a similar complaint from Dr. Modiano, the prefecture took punitive action against a number of local policemen involved in such affairs.
