A United Nations body voted here today that no person should lose his citizenship in the process of renouncing ore nationality and acquiring another. A resolution was adopted by the UN Conference on the Elimination of Reduction of Statelessness. The measure will protect persons who, some times, lose their original citizenship before the new country of their choice has granted them a new nationality.
