The French Jewish community is undergoing its first experience with “Jewish Book Fortnight”–a two-week campaign aimed at increasing interest in Jewish culture. The campaign is being led by Henri Milstein, director of the Jewish Youth Center here, and is being supported by the Joint Distribution Committee, the local branch of Keren Hasefer,”and the Community Service Organization. The cultural attache of the Israel Embassy has supplied a panel of exhibits describing the history of the Hebrew alphabet as well as various religious objects.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
