A grove of one thousand trees named for German Chancelior Dr. Konrad Adenauer is being planted in Israel “as a token of gratitude” for his efforts to effect restitution to Nazi victims. A certificate of purchase of these trees from the Jewish National Fund was presented today to the German Consul General here, Dr. Georg Federer, by a committee composed of former German citizens.
