Preliminary legal investigations were begun by the prosecutor’s office here today into charges of libel and “defamation of the dead” against Heinridh Buddeberg, chairman of the neo-Nazi Deutsche Reichspartei in Schleswig Holstein, and Lothar Stielau, a high school teacher here.
Otto Frank, father of the late Anne Frank, had brought the accusation originally against Stielau for claiming that the diary of Anne Frank was “a fraud.” Later, when Stielau had been suspended from his teaching job, Buddeberg came to his defense publicly.
