A six-year industrial development plan which envisages investments of up to $800,000,000 was proposed today by Pinchas Sapir, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
He said the amount, which is roughly equal to the total invested in industry during Israel’s first decade, would be aimed at increasing production in Israel to 4,500,000, 000 pounds annually.
