Z. O. A. to Hold National Four-day Convention in Washington

The 62nd annual convention of the Zionist Organization of America will be held September 10 through September 13 at the Willard Hotel in Washington, D. C., it was announced today by Abraham A. Redelheim, president of the organization.

Dedicated to the Herzl Centennial Year, marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of the founder of modern Zionism, the forthcoming ZOA convention is expected to draw 1,200 delegates from all parts of the country, according to election reports already received in the national ZOA headquarters here.

The four-day sessions will be given over to full discussions and action pertaining to the most vital problems confronting the Zionist movement today, embracing such issues as the projected new structure of the World Zionist Organization, the role of the ZOA on the American Jewish scene, the relationship between diaspora and Israel, the enlistment of youth into the Zionist fold and the fight against assimilation.
