Former Argentine President Pedro Aramburu today praised the Israel Army for the deep sense of responsibility shared by the rank and file of the forces resulting in a strong discipline which does not require the armed services to maintain an artificial distance between officers and lower ranks. General Aramburu, on a week’s visit to Israel, was guest of the Israel Journalists Associational Lokolow House here.

The former Argentine President, who expressed satisfaction at what he saw in Israel, said he had two main objectives in coming here–seeing how Israel succeeded in raising the standard of living of inhabitants coming from various countries, and viewing the country’s achievement on conquering the desert.
