Dr. H. Lautz, chief prosecutor in Hitler’s People’s Court, who has received government pensions totalling more than 100, 000 deutschemarks since the end of the war, was taken off the pension rolls today.
A year ago, Dr. Lautz’ pension was reduced to 768 marks monthly, after public protests had been voiced against the monies paid to the man who, under the Nazi regime, prosecuted political and other opponents of Nazism with utmost severity. Today, it was announced that even the smaller pension has been cancelled.
