Yeshiva University Reports Largest Enrollment in Its History

Dr. Samuel Belkin, president of Yeshiva University, reported today that for the fifth consecutive year, the largest enrollment in the university’s history will be recorded when the school opens its academic year Monday.

When all schools are in session, by October 5. Dr. Belkin said, more than 4,500 young men and women will be studying for undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees and diplomas. He said the figure represented an increase of more than 500 students over the last academic year. Each of the university’s 17 schools has reported a rise in enrollment.
