Israeli Firm Handles $30, 000, 000 Construction Work Abroad in 9 Months

The Harbor and Contracting Company of Solel Boneh, the construction affiliate of the Histadrut, has handled during its nine months as an independent operation $30,000,000 in construction work in foreign countries and 13,000,000 pounds in Israel, officials reported today.

Officials said that the company has become an important factor in the international construction market through its experience and several thousand skilled workers. Seventy-five foremen and technicians are supervising construction projects in seven countries, particularly in Turkey, Ghana and Nigeria.
