An exhibition of Jewish books–the first of its kind to take place in Belgium–was opened at the youth center here yesterday under the patronage of the Israel Ambassador and the president of the Jewish Consistory. The exhibit traces the literary work of the Jewish people and Jewish subjects from the time of the Bible to the present. It consists of manuscripts lent by official libraries and Biblical societies.

Included in the exhibit is a copy of “History of the Jewish People,” by Flavius Josephus, found at Anvers after the second World War, with annotations made by a Gestapo agent searching for material to support his anti-Semitic theories.
