Premier Ben-Gurion, Chief of Staff Chaim Laskov and members of the Cabinet attended the formal inauguration of the fifteenth Nahal settlement in Ein Yahav, a half-kilometer from the Jordanian border, 150 kilometers north of Eilat, in the Arava. The settlement, named Neot (Pastures), was formerly an agricultural experimental station. It will form an important link in Israel’s chain of frontier fortress-settlements.
