Five Jewish women’s groups have joined with 12 other national women’s organizations in the formation of a new body to fight segregation in American public schools, it was announced today. The new body, “National Organisations of Women for Equality,” includes the National Women’s Division of the American Jewish Congress, Hadassah, the National Women’s League of the United Synagogue of America, Pioneer Women, and the Women’s Branch of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations.
