Small Jewish Community in England Lauded for Aid to U.S. Servicemen

A United States Air Force Protestant chaplain stationed at the Alconbury Air Force base, paid tribute yesterday to a small Jewish congregation in nearby Peterborough for the help given to hundreds of U.S. servicemen and their families during and since the second World War. The chaplain, Capt. Robert Moore, presented the synagogue with a plaque on behalf of the National Jewish Welfare Board.
