The United Nations Commission on Human Rights, now holding its 16th session here, unanimously adopted a resolution recommending that governments stimulate the formation of human rights committees. The resolution expresses the view that the studies and opinion of such bodies could be of great value to the governments in the promotion and observance of human rights.
