A postage stamp honoring the memory of a Jew who was among the first French victims of Nazi extermination policies was issued here by the Government.
The stamp bears the portrait and name of the late Pierre Masse, who was at one time Undersecretary of State for Justice. He was deported from France during the early days of the Nazi occupation and, subsequently, killed in one of the death camps.
