The Warsaw District Court has sentenced two former members of the Polish police to prison terms for having taken part together with German police in excesses against Jews living in the Wolomin district. The two, Konstantin Zasadowski and Jan Polek, were sentenced to seven years and five years imprisonment respectively.
They were also charged with having taken the initiative in seeking out Jews and prisoners of war in Sosnovice. The two men remained in hiding for many years after the war until they were discovered by the local population.
