Oil prospectors in the Heletz field brought in a gusher today. Well Number 26 was brought in about a third of a mile north of Well 25, a rich well discovered several weeks ago.
These two wells are the only ones in the Heletz field which need not be pumped. They are bringing up oil under gas pressure. Further tests will be made at Well 26 about the possibilities of finding additional oil in higher layers of limestone which previously had proved barren.
