More than 17,000 Dutch citizens of all denominations have submitted a petition to Minister of Justice A. C. W. Beerman, protesting the intended release of the six remaining German war criminals from Breda prison, it was reported here today.

Two of the former Nazis are expected to be released by the end of this year. The four others, scheduled to be released at a later date, were originally sentenced to death by a war crimes tribunal for the deportation and murder of some 110, 000 Jews during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Their sentences were later commuted to life imprisonment. They were identified as Lages, Ausderfuenten, Fischer and Kotalle.
