Senator John J. Sparkman, Alabama Democrat now on a visit to Israel, told the press here today he felt certain that the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee would back any measure which would help to bring Middle East peace.
The Senator met with Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, during his visit. He was scheduled to visit Jordan next.
