At the Mediterranean Seminar, which met here this weekend, Israeli and Arab student representatives shared tables, listened to Israeli songs and exchanged views and Hebrew New Year greetings.

Joseph Golan, secretary general of the colloquim, told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here that plans were underway for the creation of a Mediterranean summer university at a mountain resort in Italy. Courses and seminars, he said, would be given by leading professors from all Mediterranean countries. A Mediterranean documentation center was also planned, he said, Mr. Golan also announced that next year’s colloquium would be held in the spring, probably in Athens.
