Jack Weiler Heads Board of Overseers of Einstein Medical College

Jack D. Weiler, prominent communal leader, has been named chairman of the board of overseers of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, it was announced today by Dr. Samuel Belkin, president of Yeshiva University. He succeeds former New York State Attorney General Nathaniel L. Goldstein who has been named chairman emeritus.

Mr. Wciler is national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal and, for nine years, served as chairman of the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York. He is secretary-treasurer of the State of Israel Bond Organization; a member of the board of the new Jewish Agency for Israel, Inc.; vice-chairman of the Joint Distribution Committee; chairman of the board of directors of Lebanon Hospital and chairman of the Building Committee of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies.
