West German cities have purchased $1,000,000 worth of Israel bonds–doubling their original goals–according to word received here today from West Berlin’s Governing Mayor Willy Brandt.
Mayor Brandt will make the formal announcement of the purchases when he arrives here to participate in the congress of the International Union of Municipal Authorities, which will convene Wednesday at Tel Aviv.
