The world Keren Hayesod conference has called on world Jewry to raise $1,000,000,000 in the coming decade “to complete the consolidation of the 1,000,000 immigrants” who have settled in Israel and to ensure “the absorption of the third million of Israel’s population.” The appeal was contained in a conference resolution.
