Israel will be happy to share the results of its efforts for desalting sea water with its Arab neighbors, Dr. Binyamin Eliav, Israel’s Consul General in New York, declared here.
Speaking at the 33rd annual luncheon of the Women’s League for Israel, Dr. Eliav cited the desalination program as one of two major developments in Israel in combating shortages of water in Israel. The other, he said, was the Jordan River diversion project to bring water for irrigation in the parched Negev.
