A leading Paris newspaper, Le Figaro, reported today that the prominent Polish leader Piasecki, was being accused not only in free Europe but also in Warsaw of collaboration in German anti-Jewish crimes during the Nazi period.
The Polish leader, now head of the Catholic Organization which is closely associated with Polish Communist ruling circles, has been accused openly in Warsaw of delivering to the Germans a Jewish woman and her two young daughters.
Radio Free Europe and Radio Lisbon first made the charges against the Polish leaders, asserting that his collaboration was uncovered during the investigation into the crimes of Adolf Eichmann, who goes on trial for crimes against humanity and the Jewish people in Jerusalem March 15.
