Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion will open the ninth conference of the Israel Bible Research Society on Sunday in Jerusalem.
The first address of the three-day conference will be given by Mr. Ben-Gurion, speaking on “The Personality of King Cyrus. ” Education Minister Abba Eban will speak on “The Significance of the Cyrus Proclamation permitting the exiled Jews of Babylonia to return to Palestine.” The conference will complete the cycle of the Old Testament by the society.
