Klaus Eichmann, the son of Adolf Eichmann who is now on trial in Israel for directing the mass-killing of 6, 000, 000 Jews in Nazi Europe, today said in a press interview that his father should be tried not in Israel but by an international tribunal. ” The Nuremberg tribunal can be convoked at any time for such a trial, ” he said.

He added that he accepted only three of the numerous crimes charged by Israel against his father–that he had belonged to the Gestapo, the Hitler Elite SS and the SD. He emphasized that he and his family had no interest in going to Israel to the trial of his father.
