Irving Hill, Los Angeles Jewish Leader, Named Judge of Superior Court

Irving Hill, president of the Jewish Federation-Council of Greater Los Angeles, today was appointed by Governor Brown as a judge on the State Superior Court.

Judge Hill has been active for years in Jewish community affairs here. He is a member of the Jewish Community Relations Committee, a former president and present board member of the Jewish Free Loan Association, and formerly chairman of the Federation-Council allocations committee. The Federation-Council is made up of 30 city-wide health and social welfare agencies and 468 Jewish community organizations. Judge Hill, who is 46, was elected to the presidency of the Federation-Council last February.
