A two-year expansion program for the Farband-Labor Zionist Order will be started at the three-day annual conference of the Farband board of directors which will open here tomorrow, Meyer L. Brown, president, announced today. Speakers will include Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister and Senator Jacob K. Javits.
Mr. Brown said the expansion program, planned in connection with the 50th anniversary of Farband in 1963, included enlargement of Farband folk schools in the United States and Canada, particularly establishment of additional day schools, intensification of the Farband adult education program and broadening of the young adult program.
